Message from the Executive Director: May 2017

As most of you close out your school year, LAPCS applauds your school communities for all the hard work you’ve put into your classrooms. Thanks to everyone that joined us at the Capitol, responded to our surveys, attended our board training sessions, and donated to our Legal Defense Fund.

Our summer will be busy with Bottom Line and Top Shelf support programs, prepping for the historic Louisiana Supreme Court case and attending possibly yet another special legislative session. And we hope to see some of you at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools Annual Conference in Washington D.C. in June. Several LAPCS staff members will be presenting and we will be co-hosting a special reception for Louisiana attendees with Adams and Reese. 

Thanks again for all you do on behalf of students, educators and the families you serve. Have a great summer!
