Our Views: Gov. John Bel Edwards should keep plan for charters

Much of Gov. John Bel Edwards’ proposals on education already are in the legislative boneyard, but a bill that would potentially restrict future growth in charter schools is headed for a showdown vote in the House.

This is a vote that the governor’s side should not win.
