The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is accepting applications from individual math teachers for its Professional Development Scholarship Emphasizing History, Number Theory, and Discrete Mathematics.
In 2019-20, a scholarship of up $3,000 will be awarded to an individual currently teaching mathematics at the grade 6-12 level.
To be eligible, applicants must be a current full individual or e-member of NCTM; have taught school mathematics for at least three years, and intend to remain in teaching. All activities must be completed by August 31, 2020.
